    The UT Tyler Robert R. Muntz Library is providing a workshop on Web of Science. This workshop is offered online. Details are as follows:
    • The workshop will take place, online, on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 3:00pm CST.
    • Participants will be guided through Web of Science’s search features and functionalities in this hour-long workshop.

    May is Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month. In honor of the observance, the UT Tyler Robert R. Muntz Library is featuring a book display on the third floor. This year, we have chosen a selection of literature and fiction from Asian Americans as well as Asian authors. As always, the books in the display case can be checked out.     If you are looking for a good place to study during Finals Week, the UT Tyler Robert R. Muntz Library is the place to be. The library will hold the following extended hours during Finals Week for the spring 2011 semester:

    In observance of Good Friday and the Easter weekend, and by order of UT Tyler President Rod Mabry, the UT Tyler Robert R. Muntz Library will CLOSE at 1:00pm today, April 22, 2011. We will have the following hours for the rest of the weekend:

    Saturday, April 23, 2011: 9:00am-6:00pm

    Sunday, April 24, 2011 (Easter): CLOSED

    The Robert R. Muntz Library will resume regular hours on Monday, April 25, 2011. We wish our friends and families a safe and happy Easter celebration.

    To celebrate, all students are invited to submit any number of orginal poems for judging. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place poems will receive recognition and awards at a reception hosted by the Muntz Library on Thursday, April 28 at 3:00pm. Submit poems to either MaryEllen Holland, BUS237 or Dr. Dana Adams, BUS226. Email submissions are also accepted. Submission Deadline: April 22nd.

    Thanks to a generous gift from the Louis & Peaches Owen Family Foundation, the Library now has a new user-friendly, walkup scanning station. You can scan documents or images in color or black and white and save them to a thumbdrive or email them...All for free! Check it out the next time you're in the Library!
