New Group Study Space

group study pods on the second floor of the Muntz library.

Three new group study pods are now available on the second floor of the library. Come sit in the comfy blue benches and work with friends to study for an exam or complete a group project together. The pods are first come, first served so there is no need to make a reservation or worry about having a minimum number of people.

Each booth contains cushioned blue seating around a large circular table. They face a large LG monitor which can display the screen of any laptop hooked into the four VGA cables available in the silver center base. The table also has power outlets for your chargers. You can turn it on with a simple power button in the center of the table, and switch between multiple laptops by pressing the circular buttons on the corresponding VGA cables.

Study Areas

The 1st and 3rd floors of the library are designated as “Quiet Zones.” There are a couple tables located on the 1st floor and individual carrels, soft furniture, and study tables located on the 3rd floor. If you require even more privacy, the library has study rooms available for checkout at the Circulation desk. There are 7 small study rooms (1-2 people), and there are 3 medium study rooms (3 people).
