LBJ Day Exhibit

Muntz library is now featuring a display on LBJ Day. What is LBJ Day? It is Lyndon Baines Johnson Day. He was the 36th President of the United States. LBJ Day is a paid holiday for Texas government employees. The day is commemorated on August 27th each year - which is President Johnson's birthday. People celebrating this day have programs, parties and other events. This year marks the 40th year of the celebration.

Included in the exhibit are various pictures from ArtStor and the internet, books and authentic artifacts from the Library Archives. Books in the display may be checked out upon request.
