Muntz Library Has Extended Hours For Finals Week Spring 2011
If you are looking for a good place to study during Finals Week, the UT Tyler Robert R. Muntz Library is the place to be. The library will hold the following extended hours during Finals Week for the spring 2011 semester:
Sunday May 8 1:00pm-2:00am
Monday May 9 7:30am-2:00am
Tuesday May 10 7:30am-2:00am
Wednesday May 11 7:30am-2:00am
Thursday May 12 7:30am-2:00am
What else is happening?- To help students stay awake, the library will provide free coffee, tea, and hot cocoa.
- From Sunday to Thursday, during the hours of 7:00pm to 2:00am, Library Room 401 has been reserved as a QUIET study room.
- As a friendly reminder, please note the designated library ZONES for each floor of the library. The second and fourth floors are GREEN ZONES. Group study, moderate conversation, and limited, considerate cell phone use is appropriate for the GREEN ZONES. The third floor is a RED ZONE. The RED ZONE is the silent area. If you want a quiet place to study, the RED ZONE is the place to be.
- Once again, Student Government Association (SGA) has graciously provided for security in the library during this time. NOTE: After midnight, only UT Tyler currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff will be allowed in the library. Security may ask to see your P2 card (student ID), so don't leave home without it.
