The Archives will be closed next week, February 8-11, for installation of new compact shelving.  We will reopen as normal on Monday, February 15.

The University Archives and Department of Special Collections (UASC), located on the ground floor of the Robert R. Muntz Library, handles materials of historical and/or archival interest to the University of Texas at Tyler and the surrounding community.

At this time, the UASC is open Monday - Wednesday from 1pm to 5pm and by appointment only. We are, however, very flexible and can be open to researchers on Saturdays and during evenings that the main library is open. In most cases, we require very little notice, though researchers making a special trip to the UASC are strongly advised to contact the University Archivist/Special Collections Librarian in advance.
