New Database Trial - Health and Psychosocial Instruments
While doing research, one of the harder things to find is a relevant measurement instrument and I know some of you have already started looking for this type of resource. With that in mind, I have gotten us trial access to the database, Health and Psychosocial Instruments. "Health and Psychosocial Instruments features material on unpublished information-gathering tools for clinicians that are discussed in journal articles, such as questionnaires, interview schedules, tests, checklists, rating and other scales, coding schemes, and projective techniques. Over 2/3 of the tools are in medical and nursing areas such pain measurement, quality of life assessment, and drug efficacy evaluation." The trial is good through December 11th. For more information about the database please see the product's information webpage. If you have questions about using the database, send them my way. If you use the database, let me know what you think. To find out what trials we have access to at any given time, click on the “Find an Articles (Databases)” link on the Library’s Homepage and then click on the “Trials” link located at the end of the alphabetical list.
