Food For Fines 2008

The UT Tyler Robert R. Muntz Library presents its annual Food for Fines event. The event runs this year from December 1 to December 7, 2008.  Join the library this Christmas Season in helping to provide canned foodstuffs to The East Texas Food Bank. Take care of your book fines by bringing in canned goods. We are looking for cans sized 12 oz. or greater, and please no dented, rusted, outdated or missing label cans. See the chart to the below for payout. All accounts are settled with the Circulation Department. If you have questions, call us at 903-566-7342.

10 cans for .25¢ - $10 in fines 15 cans for $11 - $20 in fines

20 cans for $21 - $30 in fines

25 cans for $31 - $40 in fines 30 cans for $41 - $50 in fines

The maximum forgive amount is $50. This is not applicable for ILL fines, lost books, or reserves.
