Library displays for February 2008

The Robert R. Muntz Library is featuring the following displays this month. Come visit us and have a look. If you are studying here, this may be a good reason to take a small study break.
  • Two displays honoring Black History Month are now open in the library's reading area on the second floor. One display case features a general display of books that highlight the accomplishments of African-Americans. The other case is dedicated to the life and works of Dr. Martin Luther King.
  • Up on the third floor, there is a display for Darwin Day. February 12 is the birthday of the naturalist who proposed the theory of natural selection and wrote the book On Origin of Species. Next year will be the bicentennial of Charles Darwin's birthday.
Books in the display cases are available for circulation. If you see a book in the cases you would like to read, please stop by the circulation desk and request it.
